A candid, reassuring conversation about the midlife changes women experience, but rarely talk about.
Why desire can change during perimenopause and menopause
Why intimacy may become uncomfortable or painful
How hormonal changes can affect the vaginal and pelvic tissues
The connection between stress, exhaustion, body image and desire
Why loving your partner doesn't automatically create physical desire
How these changes can affect communication and relationships
Ways to begin talking with your partner without blame or embarrassment
Questions you may want to ask your doctor or healthcare provider
Resources and forms of support women may want to explore
How to reconnect with your body without pressure, shame or performance
Debbie will also share some of her own personal experiences, helping women feel less alone in the changes they may be navigating.
Your desire has changed or disappeared
Intimacy has become uncomfortable
You feel disconnected from your body
You're worried about what these changes mean for your relationship
You miss feeling sensual, close or confident
You want practical information without shame or awkwardness
You've been wondering whether other women are experiencing this too
You are not broken.
Your body is changing, and you deserve information, support and a safe place to talk about it.
You will have an opportunity to submit a question privately before the event.
Questions may be addressed during the live conversation without identifying the person who submitted them.

Today I’m down 30+ lbs
“Today I’m down 30+ lbs also! I recently got back from a 10 day cruise ( away for 12 days) and only gained 2.4 lbs.( which is now gone) I also had to buy new bathing suits on the trip because the ones packed from this summer were to large on me.”

“I’m feeling great!
Non-scale victories: work is extremely stressful, and I would make poor food choices using that as an excuse. This was yesterday afternoon: I don’t have cravings, but I have Lindt truffles in a bag in my office for part of my nurse’s Christmas gifts, and I ALMOST opened one of the bags to eat one, which would lead to three or four. I didn’t because I removed myself from my office, went for a walk, had a big glass of cold water, and took a few deep breaths until I was calmer. Returned to my office and didn’t think of it again.
This kind of thing doesn’t happen often, but it happens, and it is all work stress related.”

Cholesterol levels dropped more than 60 points
A few weeks ago, I had my blood drawn and my cholesterol levels dropped more than 60 points. The PCP had her NP phone with the fantastic news, and she said the doctor was very pleased. This complete health turnaround is solely possible because of 30 to Life.

I love that this is a weight loss program but not a DIET.
“I love that this is a weight loss program but not a DIET. We get to explore the edges and eat according to who we are, not as defined by some cookie cutter plan.”

“Hello everyone, I am so pleased with the 30 to Life program and have been losing weight consistently. I have been on too many programs to mention but by far this one has been the best program for me. Most importantly I physically and mentally feel healthier and more confident about myself. 30 to Life is my new happier lifestyle! Thank you, Debbie!”

“Hey everyone, just wanted to say that I’m extremely pleased and excited about phase 1 of the program. To date, I’ve lost 30 lbs. This includes being sick in bed, literally, with Covid and a severe sinus infection for 10 days. I mentioned to Debbie, due to my weight loss, having a severely bad back, surgery suggested, that I am no longer having to take narcotics in order to alleviate my pain. The weight loss has taken the pressure off of my back. So just wanted to put that out there and perhaps give someone some hope if you suffer from back issues. Have a great day everyone!!”

I have tried many weight loss programs throughout the years with some success.
I have tried many weight loss programs throughout the years with some success. The foods were processed and loaded with artificial ingredients and preservatives. However, once you reach your goal weight and reintroduce normal foods the weight quickly returns. These programs are NOT designed to be a continuous way of life.

Went “off program” in a big way this weekend.
“Went “off program” in a big way this weekend. I felt so sick and fuzzy-headed this morning. I was thinking, “This feels familiar. What’s going on?” I realized that the crummy sick feeling was how I used to feel ALL THE TIME! Yikes. I am confidently resetting today while happily knowing that 30 to Life is not just a weight loss program; it is a lifestyle, a full person health education. I’ve been on maintenance for a while but today I feel like I have just been handed my 30 to Life Diploma. Thanks to Debbie, David & Donna AGAIN.

I can’t say enough about this program.
“I can’t say enough about this program. I have lost 45 lbs. Never felt better! I never thought I would say, my clothes are too big for me. Went for my physical and my doctor was overjoyed on my weight loss and my bloodwork!”
