Have you ever felt like a failure trying to diet, trying to lose weight? I’ve written a ton of articles about this and today I wanna point out three things to you, and actually the article this comes from has more tips than that. So stay till the end and you’ll find out how to get those.

But let’s talk about a few right now. First of all, take the word lose out of your vocabulary. Now you heard me say it because people recognize the weight loss, lose weight. But I want you to take out the word lose. I want you to put release or reduce. I mean, think about what happens when you actually lose something. The last time you couldn’t find your cell phone or your car keys. It’s frustrating.

It’s maddening. It’s not a good feeling. Think of a child who loses their favorite toy, Let’s get rid of the word, lose. The other thing is, let’s get those supportive people around you. Let’s try and avoid those people who say, oh, come on, it’s just one cookie or it’s Sam’s birthday. Oh, come on, we’re all going to brunch. Let’s take a vacation from some of those people, If they won’t support you. If they can’t seem to get beyond those comments. Number three, cheat bad. Let’s get those out of our vocabulary. You’re not a failure. Food is a tough one. It starts early on. Don’t think about it as cheating or being bad. Just look at your day, look at the things that went well and know that if there’s a little slip here and there, you’ll do better tomorrow.
