Tips to Lose Weight During Summer

Well, summer feels like it’s here or at least very much around the corner today. I’m Debbie Harris. I’m co-founder of 30 To Life . And I want to focus a little bit today on summer, and what that means for your weight loss goals for what you’ve been trying to accomplish. And at the end of this video, there will be a link to the article I wrote about this, and you’ll get a lot more information out of the article. Now, summer for a lot of people, myself included, it isn’t the holidays, Thanksgiving and Christmas that really kind of mess people up. It is summer and the warmer weather, more daylight hours, eating later. We have graduations, we have weddings, we have anniversaries, we have family reunions, and of course we have vacations and travel.

So what do you do if you are working on your weight loss goals? Well, we’re gonna focus on two quick things, and then remember to go ahead and get that article. Number one is water. You want to continue to drink half your body weight in ounces in plain water every day. You don’t need to buy theph stuff. You don’t need to do anything fancy. You want try and do this before four o’clock. So you’re not up as often at night, and after you do it for a while that will subside. The second thing is, now I know there’s nothing like a buffet, right? Or an all you can eat resort vacation. You want learn to crowd out.

Now, you’ve probably been doing this if you’re on our Balanced Warrior Membership program. What does it mean? It means you want to fill your plate with all of the non-starchy vegetables, the salads, the green stuff, and non-tropical fruit, and a small amount of protein. Now, look, if you’re somewhere fancy, if you’re exploring Europe, if you’re at a resort on an island, of course, you’regoing try the local fare, but just keep your portions under control, and still load up on the native vegetables and the native fruits. Now, remember, you can do it during summer. Water is number one, number two is crowding out. Don’t forget to get the article. It’ll have a ton more information for you.
