Have you written a book or thought about writing a book? I’m Debbie Harris. I’m in the process of doing that. I’m the co-founder of Maynestreet Weight Loss . I’m an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and a Certified Hypnotist, and I have started writing a book. It seems everyone has either written or is writing a book these days and my book is called Dieting Sucks. Now, if that title offends you, I apologize, but that’s kind of what it’s all about. And it’s really my journey. It’s really about how starting with being the fat kid in school and being made fun of in grammar school, and then junior high school and starting Weight Watchers at age 12 because my mother went.
So I started eating all those boiled hot dogs and broccoli with her for dinner. It’s my journey, and the reason I’m sharing this with you, and the reason I’m going to share the book with you is because so many of us spend so long focused on what we’re eating and we’re not eating the right stuff. Do you remember those Swanson TV dinners? Oh, yes. The fried chicken. I grew up on those and many other things. And now that I’m writing this book, I’m really having this experience of learning where all these food issues started. Where I was sneaking food in my grandmother’s house at 9 or 10 o’clock o’clock at night because they lived down the hall. Have you ever thought about where YOUR food experiences start? Well, this book isn’t out yet. It will be and I’ll keep you posted on it. But I do have a program, I do have a program to help women that are struggling with weight, and there’ll be more information with this video. But I was just wondering, have you thought about writing a book?
